Motorcar

The road connections are very good in the area. Tuningen is conveniently located on the motorway A 81 ​running parallel to the east of the Black Forest from Stuttgart to Lake of Constance from north to south. Tuningen has its own motorway exit roughly midway between Stuttgart and Constance. On the east-west axis across the Black Forest, Tuningen has good connections with the B31 over Donaueschingen and Titisee to Freiburg and the B33 to Trieberg. To the east Tuningen lays on the B525 connecting to Tuttlingen and the Swabian Alb.

Rental Cars: All airports and major train stations have rental car facilities. Villingen-Schwenningen has a very helpful Europcar office and offers one-way rentals and car-drops at the house in Tuningen.

Parking: There are two parking spaces on the property grounds in front of the house. Further, there is street parking. All parking is free of charge.

Train and Bus

Main Train Stations

Rottweil (20 min – direction Stuttgart), Donaueschingen (15 min – direction Freiburg), Villingen (20 min – direction Offenburg) and Tuttlingen (20 min – direction Munich and Switzerland) are served by train services. There are good European connections with the French TGV serving Freiburg and Stuttgart and Intercity trains serving Tuttlingen. Check www.bahn.de

Bus Lines
