Tourist Information

A visit to the tourist information provides valuable recommendations on current regional activities and events:

Schwarzwald Card

The Black Forest Card is sold (31 to 127 Euro) by the tourism association offering free admission, free rides and further advantages at more than 160 attractions in the entire holiday region. The card is valid on three days that can be selected freely within the period of April until March of the following year. There are also many attractions (“bonuspartner”) that grant free entry or other benefits outside of the three-day period. Further information and online purchase here: https://www.schwarzwaldcard.shop/

You should consider, if the Schwarzwald Card will be good value for you or not since our house is ideally situated not only to visit the Black Forest but also the Lake of Constance, the Danube Valley (with Tuttlingen, Beuron and Sigmaringen) and the Neckar Valley (with Rottweil and Stuttgart). Therefore most guests prefer to see the wider region and opt not to purchase the Schwarzwald Card.
